The Supreme Court has authorized the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to seize Sh113.9 million in cash and seven multi-million-shilling properties belonging to former Nairobi County Finance Chief Officer Jimmy Kiamba. EACC's seizure includes properties and cash held in Kiamba's and associates' bank accounts. Kiamba, who was earning Sh90,000 as City Hall CFO, had accumulated over half a billion in wealth within five years. The court's decision is a significant move in the ongoing efforts to combat corruption in Nairobi.
