Lucid Motors has confirmed that its 2025 Air Pure electric sedan is the most efficient car in the world, achieving a landmark efficiency of 5 miles per kilowatt-hour (kWh). This milestone makes the Air Pure the most efficient electric vehicle (EV) ever made, surpassing all other EVs currently on the market. The vehicle also boasts a record 146 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe). Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson stated that the advancements introduced across the Lucid Air lineup for 2025 further cement the company's leadership position in the EV market. The announcement was made on July 16, and the company's stock symbol is $LCID.
