Ford Launches 'Power Promise' Program with Free Home Chargers to Boost EV Sales
Sep 30, 2024, 12:04 PM
Ford has announced a new initiative, the 'Power Promise' program, aimed at boosting electric vehicle (EV) sales and addressing customer concerns about charging. The program offers free home chargers and installation to buyers and lessees of the Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, and E-Transit Cargo van from October 1 to January 2. Customers who already have a charger or live in an apartment can opt for a $2,000 incentive instead. This move is part of Ford's strategy to attract mainstream car shoppers and reduce range anxiety, extending beyond early adopters to those curious about EVs.
