Sep 19, 2024, 07:12 AM
Mohamed Al Fayed, the late former boss of Harrods, has been accused of rape and sexual assault by multiple women. According to a BBC exposé, more than 20 ex-employees have come forward with allegations, including five women who claim they were raped while working at the luxury London department store. The Egyptian billionaire, who owned Harrods for more than 25 years, allegedly targeted young female assistants on the sales floors. One of the alleged victims, Gemma, spoke to the BBC about the impact of the assaults on her life. The allegations have surfaced too late for legal action due to Al Fayed's death.
