A woman in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was swallowed by a sinkhole while walking on a pavement in the Dang Wangi area. The incident occurred when the ground suddenly gave way beneath her, creating a sinkhole approximately 8 meters (26 feet) deep. Malaysian authorities, led by local police chief Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman, are conducting a rescue operation to locate the missing woman. Eyewitnesses reported the sudden collapse of the pavement, which led to the woman's fall.
