Six-Storey Building Collapses in Surat at 3 pm, Injures 15

A six-storey building collapsed in the Sachin Pali village of Surat, Gujarat, injuring 15 people. The incident occurred around 3 pm after heavy rains in the past few days, which caused the dilapidated building to collapse. Rescue operations are currently underway with the fire brigade, police, and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on-site. Several people are feared trapped in the debris. A woman has been successfully rescued and admitted to the hospital. The local authorities, including Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot and Collector Dr. Sourabh Pardhi, are overseeing the rescue efforts.
