Biden Raises $85M in May, Trails Trump's $141M for Second Month
Jun 21, 2024, 02:48 AM
President Joe Biden's reelection campaign raised $85 million in May, adding to a substantial campaign warchest. However, this amount falls significantly short of former President Donald Trump's $141 million haul for the same month. The Trump campaign, along with an allied super PAC, received a significant influx of cash following Trump's May conviction on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. This financial boost has allowed Trump to outraise Biden for the second consecutive month, narrowing Biden's cash advantage. As of June, Biden's campaign holds $212 million on hand.
