VisitUFC Seeks Over $1 Billion Annually in Next Media-Rights Deal, More Than Double Current ESPN Contract
Jan 10, 2025, 08:05 PM
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is seeking to more than double its annual media-rights revenue in its next deal, targeting over $1 billion per year. This amount is more than double the $450 million per year that ESPN currently pays under its existing contract, which is set to expire at the end of 2025. The UFC is set to enter an exclusive negotiating window with ESPN later this month, but there is also consideration of splitting the rights among multiple bidders, including Amazon, Netflix, and YouTube.
