Jan 10, 2025, 01:49 PM
Disney, Fox Corporation, and Warner Bros. Discovery have jointly decided to discontinue their planned sports streaming service, Venu Sports, and will not proceed with its launch. Venu Sports was intended to be a joint venture that would consolidate ESPN, TNT, and Fox Sports into a single streaming app priced at $42.99 per month. In a collective statement, the companies said, "After careful consideration, we have collectively agreed to discontinue the Venu Sports joint venture and not launch the streaming service. We determined that it was best to meet the evolving demands of sports fans by focusing on existing products and distribution channels."
