The 2024 US Election Cycle has seen a staggering $14.7 billion spent by over 11,000 political groups, including political action committees (PACs), super-PACs, candidates, and parties. In the final week leading up to Election Day, nearly $1 billion was spent on political ads, according to data from AdImpact, with the presidential race alone accounting for $272 million. Donald Trump narrowly outspent Kamala Harris in this period. The ad spending breakdown for the week includes $267 million for down-ballot races, $227 million for Senate races, and $208 million for House races. Overall, campaigns and PACs have spent over $10 billion on ads for the election.
