The launch of the updated Model Y, known as the 'Juniper' variant, in January 2025, has seen significant interest, with Tesla reportedly receiving 50,000 orders on the first day of its launch in China. The new model, priced between 263,500 and 303,500 yuan, features a refreshed exterior, improved aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.22 Cd, and a 100-liter more spacious trunk.
