Cleotha Abston, a Tennessee man with a criminal record dating back to the 1990s, has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping in the 2022 death of Memphis schoolteacher and billionaire heiress Eliza Fletcher. Fletcher, a kindergarten teacher and runner, was abducted during an early morning run. Abston, who was already serving 80 years for a prior rape conviction, admitted to the charges in court on Monday.
