Ohio's Allexis Ferrell Gets 30 Months for Killing, Eating Cat in Viral Video
Dec 3, 2024, 12:39 PM
In August, 27-year-old Ohio woman Allexis Ferrell was sentenced to one year in jail for killing and eating a cat in front of horrified neighbors. The incident occurred in Canton and was captured in a viral video that circulated online. During the sentencing on Monday, Stark County Common Pleas Judge Frank Forchione expressed his disgust, stating, "This is repulsive to me. You've embarrassed this nation." Ferrell pleaded guilty to a felony charge of animal cruelty. In addition to the one-year sentence for the cat incident, she received a total of 30 months, including penalties for previous cases involving theft and child endangerment. The judge emphasized that Ferrell poses "quite a danger to our community."
