An Armyman was arrested in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly raping his female friend, who is five months pregnant. The incident occurred in a hotel room, where the victim reported that the accused also inflicted severe injuries to her private parts, including inserting a glass. The victim, in a bloodied state, reached the women's police station and filed a complaint. Kaushalya Chauhan, in charge of Indore Mahila Thana, stated that the police took immediate action and arrested the accused.
