Erdogan Urges UN to Recommend Use of Force Against Israeli Attacks on Gaza, Lebanon

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on the United Nations Security Council to take decisive action against Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon. Erdogan stated on Monday that if the Security Council fails to stop these attacks, the United Nations General Assembly should recommend the use of force, in line with a resolution passed in 1950. He emphasized the need for the UN to act to prevent further escalation in the region.
