The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for an attack on Azerbaijani forces in the Qusar district, which resulted in eight soldiers being killed or wounded. This marks the first officially claimed operation by the group in Azerbaijan, although they have previously highlighted a cell in the country. The attack took place on September 14 in the forest of Qusar, near the Russian border, resulting in '8 morts' on the forces' side and 'plusieurs moujahidin' casualties.
