IDF Soldier Elkana Navon Killed in West Bank Clashes with Hamas Gunmen

An Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldier, Staff Sergeant Elkana Navon, aged 20, was killed during clashes with Hamas gunmen in the West Bank city of Jenin. Navon, a squad commander in the 906th Battalion of the Bislamach Brigade, was involved in a counterterrorism operation when he was fatally shot. The incident also resulted in three other soldiers being wounded. Navon hailed from Petah Tikva and was noted for his role as a squad leader in the IDF.
