EU Demands Algorithm Documents from Elon Musk's X by February 15 Amid Far-Right Support Concerns

Additionally, the Commission has issued a retention order requiring X to preserve internal documents and information regarding future changes to its algorithms from January 17, 2025, to December 31, 2025, unless the investigation concludes earlier. The investigation, which began in December 2023, is part of the EU's efforts to ensure compliance with the Digital Services Act (DSA), amid concerns over the spread of disinformation and manipulation of public discourse in Europe.
