A federal appeals court has cleared the way for the public release of special counsel Jack Smith's report on the 2020 election interference case against President-elect Donald Trump. The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected a challenge from Trump and his co-defendants in his classified documents case, who sought to block the report's release. However, the report will not be immediately released due to a temporary block by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, which remains in effect for three days.
