Netanyahu Vows to Intensify Campaign Against Hezbollah in Lebanon After Sunday Meeting
Sep 24, 2024, 02:30 PM
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel has vowed to intensify the military campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Following a meeting with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and top military officials on Sunday, Netanyahu warned that Israel would continue its aerial bombardment of Hezbollah targets. He emphasized that any location housing missiles or rockets would be targeted, stating, 'Anyone who has a missile in their living room and a rocket in their garage will not have a home.' Netanyahu also addressed the Lebanese people, clarifying that Israel's conflict is with Hezbollah and not with Lebanon itself, and accused Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah of leading Lebanon to the brink of disaster. The announcement was made during a visit to a military base.
