Nine Israelis Injured, Three Critically, in Bus Shooting Near Ariel Settlement; Attacker Killed, Second Suspect Sought

Nine Israeli settlers were injured, including three critically, in a shooting attack near the settlement of Ariel in the occupied West Bank on November 29, 2024. The assailant, reportedly wearing a bulletproof vest and armed with an automatic rifle, opened fire on a bus carrying settlers at the Giti Avisar junction near Salfit. Israeli forces shot and killed the attacker at the scene and are searching for a possible second suspect. Among the injured are both civilians and soldiers. Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva reported receiving seven of the wounded, including three in serious condition. The Israeli military is conducting searches in the area following the attack.
