Hamas Says Israeli Female Hostage Killed in Gaza Airstrikes; Another Hostage's Life in Danger
Nov 23, 2024, 05:02 PM
Hamas’s armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced that an Israeli female hostage was killed in northern Gaza due to Israeli airstrikes. Spokesman Abu Obeida stated that after re-establishing contact with fighters assigned to protect Israeli prisoners, they confirmed the death of one female hostage in an area under heavy Israeli bombardment, while another female hostage remains in danger. Hamas holds Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli military responsible for the hostages' deaths, citing continued attacks on Gaza. They warned that due to widespread destruction and the deaths of some of their captors, the bodies of hostages may be lost. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said they are examining the information and cannot confirm or deny the claim at this stage. IDF representatives are reportedly in contact with the hostage's family.
