A senior commander in the al-Jama’a al-Islamiyya, also known as the Islamic Group, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Western Beqaa District of Lebanon. The commander, identified as Muhammed Jabara, also known as Muhammad Jabar, was targeted in the village of Ghazzeh. Reports indicate that the strike was carried out by an Israeli drone. Jabara was a commander in the Fajr Forces, the military wing of Lebanon's Jamaa Islamiya, which conducts operations against IDF forces on the Israeli-Lebanese border. Hamas has confirmed Jabara's affiliation with their organization.
