Hezbollah's Nasrallah Warns Israel of Retaliation Against New Settlements if Civilians Targeted at Ashura
Jul 17, 2024, 08:25 AM
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah issued a stern warning to Israel during a speech at the Ashura commemorations in Beirut on Wednesday. Nasrallah stated that if Israel continues to target civilians in Lebanon, Hezbollah will retaliate by targeting new Israeli settlements that have not previously been attacked. He emphasized that Israel's persistence in such actions would lead to extensive damage and that Hezbollah would not be intimidated by threats of war. Nasrallah also mentioned that Hezbollah's support for Gaza would persist as long as the bloodshed continues. Additionally, he warned that if Israeli tanks enter southern Lebanon, they would be destroyed, leaving Israel with no tanks left.
