45 Missing After Tourist Boat 'Sea Story' Sinks Near Marsa Alam, Egypt; Rescue Efforts Ongoing

At least 45 people, including 31 tourists of various nationalities and 14 crew members, are missing after their tourist boat, Sea Story, sank off the coast of Marsa Alam in the Red Sea, Egypt, on Monday. The vessel sank during a diving trip. Egyptian authorities, including Governor Amr Hanafi, have launched a large-scale rescue operation involving naval vessels and aircraft, in coordination with the Egyptian navy and armed forces. Some survivors have been found, with reports indicating that 16 or 28 people have been rescued, but the exact number of survivors remains unclear. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing.
