At least 45 people, including 31 tourists of various nationalities and 14 crew members, are missing after their tourist boat, Sea Story, sank off the coast of Marsa Alam in the Red Sea, Egypt, on Monday. The vessel sank during a diving trip. Egyptian authorities, including Governor Amr Hanafi, have launched a large-scale rescue operation involving naval vessels and aircraft, in coordination with the Egyptian navy and armed forces.
