A senior Delhi government officer was arrested for rash driving after his car collided with a motorbike, igniting a fire that destroyed both vehicles early on Sunday. The crash occurred around 2 a.m. on Rani Jhansi Road in the Jhandewalan area. The officer, allegedly drunk, dragged the bike for 2km before both vehicles burst into flames. The police and fire officials were prompted to rush to the spot after receiving a PCR call about a car up in flames. CCTV footage revealed the hit-and-run incident, leading the police to probe the involvement of the senior Delhi government official.
