South Korea has detected over 200 balloons launched from North Korea, carrying trash, excrement, sewage, and propaganda leaflets. This action is believed to be a response to anti-North Korea leaflets sent by South Korean activists in May. The balloons have landed in various locations, including near the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), and some are still airborne.
