Dec 27, 2024, 08:05 AM
An 80-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in a terror attack in Herzliya, a coastal city north of Tel Aviv, on Friday morning. The assailant, identified as a 28-year-old Palestinian from the West Bank, was neutralized by security guards from the Israel Post Company. The attack occurred on Kdoshei HaShoah Street, and the victim was rushed to the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in critical condition but succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival. The Israel Police, alongside the Shin Bet, are investigating how the Palestinian terrorists infiltrated Israel, with no other injuries reported. Magen David Adom emergency service teams provided initial aid at the scene, and footage of the attack has been released. The police have confirmed that the attack was carried out on nationalistic grounds, and the perpetrator was arrested after being shot by security forces.
