Jun 9, 2024, 03:15 PM
A suspected terror attack targeted a bus carrying Hindu pilgrims in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The bus, en route to the Shiv Khori pilgrimage site and coming from Katra, came under heavy fire, causing the driver to lose control and the bus to plunge into a gorge. Reports indicate that approximately 10 people have died and many others, including children, have been injured. Multiple bullet cartridges were found at the site, and a search operation is currently underway. The incident has drawn widespread condemnation, highlighting concerns about the resurgence of militant activities in previously cleared areas. Additionally, 33 people have been reported injured.
