The U.S. Navy launched Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs) from guided-missile destroyers of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group, operating in the Red Sea, targeting Houthi command and control, weapon production, and storage facilities in Yemen on December 31. The strikes were aimed at facilities belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthi group, as announced by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).
