Tanzanian Opposition Figure Found Dead, Beaten and Doused with Acid

The body of Ali Mohamed Kibao, a senior Tanzanian opposition figure from the Chadema party, was found on the outskirts of Dar es Salaam after being abducted from a bus by armed men. Postmortem results revealed that Kibao had been brutally beaten and had acid poured on his face. Chadema party lawyers were present during the examination. Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan has condemned the brutal killing.
