Four Israeli reserve soldiers were killed and 14 injured, including five in serious condition, during a battle with Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon on Saturday evening, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced. The fallen soldiers were identified as Captain (res.) Rabbi Avraham Yosef Goldberg, 43, from Jerusalem; Major (res.) Gilad Elmaliach, 30, from Jerusalem; Captain (res.) Amit Chayut, 29, from Haifa; and Major (res.) Eliav Amram Abitbol, 36. The incident occurred during fierce clashes with Hezbollah in a southern Lebanese village.
