Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for firing at least four rockets from Lebanon into the northern Israeli city of Safed, causing heavy damage including a direct hit on a building but no reported injuries, according to Israeli police. The attack is Hezbollah's first announced strike since Israeli forces hit the southern suburbs of Beirut hours earlier. Shrapnel from interceptions also contributed to the destruction in Safed.
