20-Year-Old Pakistani Citizen Arrested in Canada for Plotting Terrorist Attack at NYC Jewish Center
Sep 6, 2024, 09:13 PM
A 20-year-old Pakistani citizen, Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, was arrested in Canada on September 4 for allegedly planning a terrorist attack in New York City. Khan, also known as Shahzeb Jadoon, is accused of plotting to carry out a mass shooting at a Jewish center in Brooklyn on October 7, the anniversary of the Hamas attacks in southern Israel. The FBI and the Justice Department have charged Khan with attempting to provide material support to ISIS and planning to kill as many Jewish people as possible. Law enforcement believes the Toronto man was on his way to Roxham Road to illegally enter the United States when he was apprehended near the Quebec-New York border.
