KLM Flight KL1204 Makes Emergency Landing in Norway, No Injuries Reported

A KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 737-800, operating flight KL1204 from Oslo to Amsterdam, made an emergency landing at Torp Sandefjord Airport in Norway due to a hydraulic failure shortly after takeoff on December 28, 2024. The aircraft veered off runway 18 and came to a stop on soft grass near a taxiway. All 182 people on board, including 176 passengers and 6 crew members, were unharmed. The emergency landing occurred at 19:14, and no injuries were reported. The passengers were evacuated using mobile stairs and are being assisted by authorities. KLM has not yet issued a statement on the incident, and an investigation into the cause of the hydraulic failure is underway.
