South Korea to Restart Anti-Pyongyang Broadcasts in Response to North's Trash-Filled Balloons
Jun 9, 2024, 04:32 AM
South Korea has announced it will restart anti-Pyongyang loudspeaker broadcasts directed at North Korea in response to the latter's recent provocations, including the launch of trash-filled balloons. This decision comes after North Korea's continued use of balloon launches to send propaganda and other materials across the border. South Korea's move to resume these broadcasts was also discussed during ASEAN meetings, where South Korea denounced North Korea's actions.
