Billy Wagner, a former Houston Astros closer, has been elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in his 10th and final year on the ballot. Wagner received 82.5% of the votes, securing his place in Cooperstown. Throughout his 16-year career, which included stints with the Astros, Phillies, Mets, Red Sox, and Braves, Wagner amassed 422 saves, a 2.31 ERA, and 1,196 strikeouts. He will be inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside Ichiro Suzuki and CC Sabathia in the class of 2025. Wagner's election marks him as the ninth reliever to be honored in the Hall of Fame.
