Richards, daughter of former Texas Governor Ann Richards, led Planned Parenthood for 12 years from 2006 to 2018, becoming one of the nation's most influential voices for women's health and reproductive rights. Vice President Harris called her 'a fighter and a force to be reckoned with.' Her final project was 'Abortion in America,' dedicated to using social media platforms to share stories about abortion beyond traditional media.
