Cecile Richards, the former president of Planned Parenthood and a prominent feminist activist, died at age 67 after a battle with brain cancer, her family announced on Monday. Richards, who led Planned Parenthood for 12 years from 2006 to 2018, was a lifelong advocate for women's rights and healthcare equity. She also served on the board of the National Women's Law Center. The daughter of former Texas Governor Ann Richards, she dedicated her life to fighting for civil rights and reproductive justice.
