CIA Whistleblower Alleges Cover-Up of Foreign Involvement in Havana Syndrome, Affecting Over 300
Dec 30, 2024, 04:31 PM
A whistleblower, identified only as 'Alice,' a former CIA officer, has come forward alleging that the CIA has covered up the involvement of foreign adversaries in 'Havana Syndrome' attacks. Alice claims to have suffered career-ending injuries due to a foreign-directed energy weapon while serving in Africa, experiencing symptoms such as vertigo, cognitive decline, and ringing in the ears that began at her home. These incidents, known as Anomalous Health Incidents (AHIs), have affected over 300 U.S. diplomats, intelligence officers, military personnel, and their family members. A leaked Defense Department letter acknowledges that Alice's 'experiences are real,' contradicting the CIA's stance. The intelligence community has been accused of downplaying the issue, gaslighting victims, and thwarting Congressional efforts to investigate. Despite the National Intelligence Council's report suggesting it was 'very unlikely' that foreign adversaries were responsible, the House Intelligence Committee's interim report indicates that a foreign adversary might be responsible for some of these incidents. The CIA also revoked Alice's security clearance, citing her psychological conditions.
