This move comes as a response to a looming 75-day deadline set by President Donald Trump for ByteDance, TikTok's Chinese parent company, to divest its U.S. operations or face a potential ban. The investor group, which includes institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals, aims to ensure TikTok remains accessible and operational in the U.S. while addressing national security concerns.
