Procter & Gamble Co. reported its fiscal second-quarter earnings, surpassing Wall Street expectations. The company achieved adjusted earnings per share of $1.88, compared to the anticipated $1.86, marking a +2% year-over-year increase in core EPS. Revenue reached $21.88 billion, exceeding the expected $21.54 billion, reflecting a +2% increase in net sales year-over-year. P&G's organic sales grew by +3% year-over-year, driven by demand for household staples such as toilet paper and laundry products. The company also reiterated its fiscal 2025 forecast, projecting core EPS to be between $6.91 and $7.05, in line with estimates of $6.91, and expecting EPS growth of +5% to +7% for the year. P&G's shares rose 2.5% in premarket trading following the announcement.
