A helicopter registered as PR-WVT with four people on board crashed in Caieiras, São Paulo. The pilot, Edenilson de Oliveira, and a 12-year-old girl were rescued alive on Friday morning after spending the night in the forest; the girl was rescued on her birthday. Two people, businessman André Feldman and his wife Juliana Böher, died in the accident. The helicopter had departed from Campo de Marte in São Paulo on Thursday night and was headed to Americana, in the interior of the state. The aircraft did not have authorization for taxi flights. The cause of the crash is under investigation, with initial reports suggesting that bad weather conditions may have contributed.
