Dec 29, 2024, 08:00 AM
A 32-year-old driver, identified as Jovontae Henderson, was arrested in Tampa after leading Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers on a high-speed chase. Henderson, driving a BMW, was clocked at speeds over 120 mph in a 55 mph zone on the Selmon Expressway. The chase, which began just after midnight on December 28, started when Henderson fled from Tampa Police on State Road 618 near Gandy Boulevard. At the time of the incident, Henderson had at least one active warrant and multiple license suspensions.
