Derrick Sanders Jr. Charged With Felony Murder for Shooting Uncle Christopher Sanders Sr. on December 1 in Fort Worth

In Fort Worth, Texas, a 19-year-old man, Derrick Sanders Jr., has been charged with felony murder following the death of his uncle, Christopher Sanders Sr., 40, in a shooting incident on December 1. The incident occurred as both were riding in a blue Dodge Charger that was following a black Chrysler 300 in the 6900 block of N. Beach St. Both men fired shots at the Chrysler, but a bullet from Derrick Sanders Jr.'s gun penetrated the roof of the Charger and fatally struck Christopher Sanders Sr. in the head. The shooting was pre-planned, evidenced by the use of gloves and covered license plates by the occupants of the Dodge Charger. Derrick Sanders Jr. was arrested and booked into the Fort Worth City jail on Friday.
