Trump Shuts Down CBP One App After Inauguration, Canceling 1 Million Asylum Appointments

Shortly after President Donald Trump was sworn into office on January 20, 2025, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) deactivated the CBP One mobile application, effectively canceling all existing appointments and leaving thousands of migrants in Ciudad Juárez and other border towns in limbo.
