Putin Threatens Greater Destruction After Kazan Hit by Eight Ukrainian Drones
Dec 22, 2024, 12:15 PM
Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed to bring greater destruction to Ukraine following a drone attack involving at least eight drones on the Russian city of Kazan, located approximately 1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. On Saturday, Ukrainian drones loaded with explosives targeted Kazan, damaging infrastructure that authorities in the Republic of Tatarstan have pledged to restore. Speaking during a videoconference dedicated to the launch of transportation infrastructure projects, Putin stated, 'Whoever tries to destroy something here will face many times more destruction themselves and will regret what they are trying to do in our country.'
