Jordan and Lebanon have closed all border crossings with Syria due to escalating security concerns as Syrian rebels advance in the south of the country. Jordan's Interior Minister, Mazen al-Faraya, announced the closure of the Jaber border crossing, the country's only commercial crossing with Syria, after rebel forces captured the Nasib border crossing on the Syrian side.
