Five Charged, Including Friend, in Liam Payne's Buenos Aires Death
Dec 30, 2024, 01:15 PM
Argentine authorities have charged five people in connection with the death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne, who died on October 16, 2024, after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. Among those charged are Payne's close friend Rogelio 'Roger' Nores, alleged drug dealers Braian Paiz and Ezequiel Pereyra, and hotel employees. The charges include negligent homicide and supplying drugs. Two of the accused have been placed in preventive detention. Reports indicate that Payne had consumed numerous drugs and was acting aggressively before his death. Authorities allege that Nores left Payne hours before his fatal plunge, and hotel staff failed to intervene.
